What a freakin' killer day. The weather could not have been more perfect. High pressure weather system meant great horsepower from the 125, and also for the rider. I rode a crushing number of laps (for me, anyway)

The track is awesome! The best I've hit yet. It's in a place that looks a lot like my backyard. The terrain is flat, but the track is HUGE with lots of big tables, step ups/downs, doubles, etc.

There is a great mix of long, flat corners and berms. In the flat corners you had to trail brake while downshifting, backing it in, cranked over pretty far. Woot! That's worth the price of admission right there. Traction is great, but sometimes the berms are just made of powder and will NOT hold a bike in. You had to watch for that.

The 2 big gaps I did not attempt today, but next time I will for sure. The whoops were actually giving me fits all day, so I will conquer them next time as well.

what a sick day, i had a ton of fun. sooo many things to keep working on but bike and body felt great, loving the new setup there for sure. the track is double the size from the last time i was down and the obstacles were about 10x as good!

cant freekin wait to go back.. .

Oooh, the only thing better than a day of motox, is a day of mx followed by a soak in a hottub with the ladies and some grilled meat!

btw, here's some bling I added to my bike. I'm not going to race MX, but I'm still attached to my roadracing number. Plus, it will help them identify the body if I knock myself silly out there at a trackday!



I only took one pic at Rocky Hill. I was too busy lapping or recovering, but this gives an idea what a spectacular day it was...
