Not sure if they are open Sundays or not, but I know they are closed on Mondays?

I'm going Friday evening/night and riding Saturday and Sunday.

Long range weather forcast shows hints of it being a little muddy in sections at Pachaug

I was going to stop by to introduce myself since your all coming down here, if that is ok? I have a friend who has a house on the lake so I was going to mix the two together. He is a wild one. The only reason that he owns the house is that when he rented it, he accidentally burned down the barn/garage with one of his jeeps on top of it...... a really funny story and I could never do it justice. The landlord basically said "just buy the place".

I stopped by Motorsports today and there hours are M-F 9-7, Service 10-6.
Sat 10-5 with Service open till 4.

I got nuthin......Double checked, Service is opened early at 9, go around the back if front is locked. Parts/Sales is 10.

Friday I "think" i'm working at Mohegan Sun so I won't be home until 4, clean up, load up, pack some stuff..my guess is 5:30-6 being realistic. It's only 1/2 hour drive from my house. I do need some time to set up my tent/garage/EZ-up in daylight. Oh, and campfire wood!

Camera batteries are on charge, I'ma bring 3 cards to try the video thing Sean seems to like We had 2.5" of rain today..muddy is an understatement!

I think the beer selection and quantity sounds good

Yeh I'll bring charcoal to speed up the coals process and the grill for the pit , we can put some wood on it for flavor . I have an exterior drop light that you can plug in for light to get the tent squared away , I will try to get a site with electric but if not we will have to plug into the generator for some light .

bring what you want for breakfast , I was just going to do cereal or oat meal myself rather than cooking .

bring some thing that you can pack for lunch as we will most likely be on the trail for lunch .

I was thinking burgers and such for friday night , possibly grilled potatoes to go with it .

maybe some marinaded grilled chicken with pasta and sauce for sat night , maybe a side salad and some grilled garlic bread ?

I'll bring all the dinner stuff .

not that I think we will need it and I hope we don;t but I would plan to bring a spare air filter , spare oil filter , couple qts of oil and a means by which to change oil .

I have pine for the campfire, should I bring a few peices of hardwood to cook on? All I have is oak so not sure of the cooking quality.
I forgot to grab the generator from the shop today, should still be able to get it delivered to the site.

Another tip I learned in Maine over the summer, put plastic bags over your socks before you put them in your boots. It's surprising how much more comfortable that is in wet conditions. And the next day, it's not instant yuck feeling putting your feet in damp boots to start the day.

The only section I'd like to avoid is the "BIG" water hole
