Fall schedule is out, new website ^ has launched.
The more it gets used, the better it'll be.
10/28 mattapoisett (stoppers removed). Short course.
11/18 Swansea (the fastest and funnest venue in the circuit) short course
11/25 toys for tots (@demoranville farm, uses the enduro course. Couple tough sections)
No memberships, or anything. 2 unwrapped toys, ride as much as you want
12/2 Freetown (Demo's farm, who knows what they'll use/make for trail) short course
I'm itching for a wave of the green flag. I'll be at all the races, I have to work the day of TFT, but I'll see about a swap. Hope to see a few of you cats there.

Ok, bottom line this for me:
It looks like I need to:
A) Become a PSTR member
B) Buy a PSTR transponder
C) Get an AMA membership
D) Entry fee for the event?
How much am I looking at for the day?
$25 membership (good for remainder of this season and all of 2013.
$15 for number and xponder (I think)
AMA is 45/year reg online
$35 entry/$5 parking (all parking $ goes to charity of the host's choice)
I think it's $5 for a new # when you advance. The xponder gets reprogrammed. It's an expensive first day. But it's good for all 3 remaining events in 2012, and all of 2013, pending what events may/may not be netra sanctioned.

I don't know what they'll do about PSTR comp series points if the event is also a netra event (I'd have to choose one or the other I'm guessing because I'm in different classes in both).
Also, $40 with a gate fee incl is cheaper than any other racing I've seen (80min total). In addition, this is a place you'll ONLY get to ride for this event. It's a distance away for a lot of people. Maybe you can carpool, or josh (specifically) check with blades on nedb, he's from Maine and has done a few of these.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the fees, just trying to budget it out to see if I can make the race without playing 'hide the receipts' after.![]()
I'm so excited for this. Do you need to join AMA online or can you do it on sight? Anything else that I should know/ bring/ expect/ watchout for?
I just watched the video. I hope he is crazy fast because I won't be half that quick through some of those trees. I grew up right near there. I used to hang out there all the time when I was younger. It's going to be a trip racing through those woods.
Everything, including AMA, can be done on site. If you have the time Saturday afternoon, reg is usually half-assed open. They also might need some help setting up, they were looking for workers earlier in the day. (Staking and ribboning)
I'll be at work for the 24 on Saturday, otherwise I'd open up my house josh, if you wanted to not make it a super long day.
The rider in that video is a b-light (PSTR) b-250 (netra) rider. A quick lil guy.

I'll most likely be lurking around as a spectator...
Spectators are welcome, i think you gotta pay $5 for the car?
Yeah. Whatever the parking fee is, it's per vehicle.
So bring em with you, or if they don't have a problem with a charitable contribution, have them bring their own transportation.

I need to grab Joel and get down for at least the TfT run. I will probably stick with the KDX as that is the bike that has the transponder and PSTR numbers. Actually I can bring the CRF to thhe TFT run, if I don't kill myself before than.
What time does the whole event start?
Edit: found the shit.

Heat 1 Women Take Note, Very Important Message:
Please be on the lookout for a rider that goes by the name "Kurlon" with an "eBay Special" sponsor kit on a white/blue Yamaha WR250. We've heard this rider has been known to sneak into the Womens heat race, pretend he didn't realize, then steal points for his combined EOD totals.
PSTR does not condone this behavior and would appreciate a keen eye.
Thank you and have fun out there!

what's your budget? i'll keep an eye peeled.
how was the course?
Beta 200RR
Course was awesome. 2nd Moto started to get a little boney, but it's New England. There was enough straights/open stuff to catch your breath and shake out the arms.
I didn't put on my best show ever, but was an absolute blast.
