    That was fun.

The ride home was a blast, too. Went through Whately and Conway to Ashfield. I can ride just as fast on the Pirelli knobbies as I can on street tires. I made it home just as it became night.

It was like a block party with rowdies everywhere. Soooo uncharacteristic. Anyway, they were nice guys and were happy to go with the plan to go in the same direction so we didn't collide head on.

that's cool at least. nothing scarier than a potential collision when youre in the groove.

speaking of collisions... reminds me of the time i had a head-on with a guy on a bicycle in the woods. i was fully geared up on a KX80, he had headphones on coming down a slope that was opposite of a jump. i launched, landed and SMACK! happened too fast to change direction right after i landed. the bicycle was pretzeled and the guy got tossed in the brush. always wondered how he was. just wandered off dazed and left the bike. we tried to talk to him.

    Damn, that's nuts.

Yesterday made me realize that this spot can sustain a bigger crowd than I thought. Especially if we were all on the same page with direction.

Well, they weren't really lapping, just come onto and off the track from all the little side trails and stuff. I didn't pass anyone yesterday, but I find it plenty wide for passing bikes out there.

nice, last pic reminds me of places I practiced at on 80s, just straight aways of whoops half as tall as my bike and big sandy berms

Yah, if you want a trip down memory lane, come on out. We got all that. Some of the berms are epic. 8 feet tall, uphill, downhill. some of the whoops could fit a small car in them.
