See whoever is still in tomorrow morning in the lot.

Got my trailer wiring done, packing the bike up after eating. Should be leaving here around 8:00!

Bike is sticker-ed up, there will be no missing me and the 'eBay Special.'
Heading out shortly, see y'all there.
Good day of riding. Not long, but plenty of riding for a cold day.
Took one header into a tree, but otherwise kept it mostly upright. Kurlon popped his woods cherry. Woods is no MX walk in the park
Bike is powerwashed and put away. Looking forward to next weekend possibly!

I know i'm whooped18.7 miles and never left mine and my neighbors property. Not as many crashes as last weekend but by the end of the day, things were getting sloppy. One section I cut a bit to tight and my handle bars didn't make it between the trees..interesting!
I'm gonna feel this tomorrow.

Yeah, it was a good day of riding fun with friends. Good to ride with Clayton again and Josh for the first time. Hopefully get to do it again before the heavy snow flies.
No love with the videos though. I know why nothing recorded though so next time I should be able to actually get some good video. Oh well!
Joel
What, no video? I'm not repeating that crash again...
I think next weekend works for me.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
In for next weekend!
If I kill a deer this week I am in for next week for shizzle.

Oh, I didn't say I wouldn't crash, just that each new one will be as unique as individual snowflakes.
Unfortunately I'm on call this week, so no straying out to Clough for me. I'll spend the time instead seeing if I can get that tank jetted better and maybe correct the gearing and / or the clutch. ...gotta track down a 2.5mm diameter shim for my push rod and maybe some new steels...
Gearing and tires. Leave the jetting alone, it seemed fine!

You weren't on it when it'd load up and stall, fight me kick starting, and refuse to clean out on top for extended periods. It's a two stroke and my right leg is going to be HUGE if I leave it as is. : ) (My leg is still KILLING me today after that first dump, if it doesn't calm down by Wed I'm going for X-Rays to see if I cracked something.)
Speaking of tires, Pirelli doesn't list an MT16 or MT18 any more on their site, did they change the names?
Edit: Hopefully gearing will be corrected this week, I was supposed to have a new sprocket set on order already, I'll just have them change the rear from the stock 51 to oh, I dunno, 72?

You were loading up due to lugging it so much. Change the gearing first, ride it around for 15 minutes at woods speed to see if it keeps getting soupy on you.
I'll look into the pirelli's for ya and find out what the replacements are called.
And get boots!

Much smaller boom! : )
(Ok, I'm not serious, but I could get two sets of the Chinese crap for the price of one Pirelli front...)
10.5 US I believe. I've got a set of boots but they're a bit big, I'll have to see what size they are tonight as they might work for someone else a touch better?
The clutch is dragging excessively, it's effectively not working when warm. I've got a couple relatively easy things to check this weekend before I get worried.
And no worries on the cases, they're already JBWeld/aluminum blob weld masterpieces. : )
hmm, that clutch engagement is something I experienced as well but never made the final step to fix because the cash flow infusion for mine has stopped...I did everything except replace the steel/friction plates because the previous seller told me they were new.
Does it slam into, or between gears and lurch forward when you're stopped?
would you be interested in used boots if they fit ya? I only ask because imho, used boots function the same as new boots (and will get dirty eventually anyways), but cost a lot less.
My hands still hurt today! That was one of the funnest rides i've done, everything seemed to flow so well yesterday. I seem to learn a new trick everytime I ride out there. I am finally getting the tight corners down, theirs plenty out there to practice on.
The single track section is looking like it will turn out to be a pretty intense loop. But again, even the flow through there seemed really good. Thinkin next weekend we do some work to the single track? Drag a rake behind for a line to follow, add some rocks to that one section?
