People's been out on the lake on sleds, neighboorhood kids've been out skating & playing hockey. Startin' to think up a nice little course to plow out there to do some ice riding. Any suggestions? I'm guessing just try to get in a nice staight with a tight switchback at the end, some nice hard corners & tight turns? See if I can manage a coupla little jumps somewhere? Of course, the dickhead snowmobilers from Mass'll come make a complete mess of it in no time...

If you're running non-studded bank the snowbanks and wet them down. They set up solid and you can rail them.

I'll be studding the tires on the Raptor. I just put the extra-deep lug Mud Lites on the Arctic Cat and that's all I'll need on that to plow & ride. I've gotta get a decent path onto the lake first - hopin' to do that today. Then I'll see if I can cut a decent enough course out before the big snow hits tomorrow so it'll be easier to keep it clean. Then - like I said - these outta state vacationing, sled riding assholes will come up and fuck it all up to hell. Seems to be their thing, fuckin' up cleared out hockey/skating areas & shit...

Lemme know when you shoot over. I'll be home mosta the day (Saturday), doing some clean-up plowing & snow removal to get ready for the storm tonight/tomorrow. May run out to the liquor store right quick, but that's about it. When?

Yeah, now that we got a foot of snow on the ground, and my Rappy is stored in my basement..I just looked at the 200'+ path I need to shovel just to get it out of the house.
Another month or so and I'll start to have a lot more free time so hopefully I can get up there

I e mailed the guy from A 1 cycles , the ones sponsoring the ice racing at hamilton rod gun club in sturbridge, He said that there would be atleast a couple pitbike classes this year .
you need to be an ama member to race,,I asked for other details but am still waiting to hear back, about bike prep etc.......

My biggest hurdle is getting TO the lake right now. We have a pretty steep decline to the water, plus they lowered the lake by about 4 feet to work on the boat ramps. The water didn't have enough time to recover before it started freezing, so we have like a 3 foot drop to the surface. I'm hoping to cut a decent alley to the lake then lay some old docks down with strapping across 'em for traction. Of course, now I gotta dig out the docks I was gonna use too. I gotta get a clean enough path so we can get back UP to the house though too. Once I'm on the lake, it's a piece of cake. I can do whatever I need to...
