turned the street legal WR450 into more of a dual sport, added the pro moto billet rack to it and took the pelican case I had on my wrr and put it on the 450 to carry tools and such
the rack was spendy but nice piece of kit .
I have one to put on theotherwifes wr250 so she can carry the spare fuel .
they gave me a %15 discount for buying both from them at the same time

that looks awesome
$184 which I suppose isn't all that bad for machined billet aluminum
but I am a cheap bastard . I did get %15 off for buying 2 at the same time so $156 each which ended up being worth it once I actually saw the quality in person, as it is not welded together, the rack it self is all one piece and the 2 side rails are also one piece each , so no welds to break.

That's my old bike and it was only good for 50-60 miles on a tank. perfect for back yard trail riding, not so good for an actual dualsport ride. When we ride in Maine, sometimes it's about 50 miles from gas stop to gas stop. Last time I was up there on that bike, we were about 1 mile from the gas station and it bucked a couple times..I made it and put 1.8 gallons into the small 1.9 gallon tank
I havn't been left my local area/backyard with my KTM smoker yet, but I have yet to get more than 35 miles on a full tank..it holds 2.9 gallons

yeh, when we ride up in maine we typically do 100+ mile days , mostly open ATV trails with some tight stuff here and there . with the added 1.7 gal , I think i'll have in the 90-100mile range on fuel now so we won't have to worry as quickly about finding a gas station , but for the back yard rip in the woods ,I'll probably won't fill them to the top . i think they make a 6gal tank as well , but thats just over kill and besides who wants to spent that kind of time sitting on a 2x4 for a seat .
