I rode both Saturday and Sunday in the pooring rainWe weren't about to sit around watching TV after driving 325 miles to go riding. No pictures beacuse it would have ruined my camera but we actually had a pretty good time. We also saw some killer floods from all the rain and was even involved in a mini mud/rock/root slide down the side of a mountain.
The odd thing about riding in heavy rain, you usually return from your ride cleaner than when you left![]()
Next year I'll have to drag some of you clowns up to Maine for some riding. There's 100s of miles of trails and fire roads in the area with more and more trails opening every month. Non-resident ATV registration is $69 for the year![]()

You should take a ride up here, we have a few trails as well. And there is no reg fee, because no one patrols these trails.![]()
What about this weekend? Whats everyone up to for sunday? Any interest in that area by the covered bridge?!?!?!

Where is this "covered bridge" area? I may be up for a dirty ride, even if there is light rain. I'm not going to ride in a downpour, but light rain is OK.

I could be talked into this for an early morning sunday ride.

This is the place near Kanuctafucket or some crazy name![]()
How wet you think it'll be there? I'd like to but i'm thinking of waiting at least another week to let the soup dry up some![]()

I'm thinking SOAKED. Not good for me on tight rides. I'm open to more fireroad and less tight. But I'm not that knowledgeable about locations. But I'm all for the muddy non-technical shit.Originally posted by R7

From what I remember, it's not all that tight for the most part, nothing like what we did with Sean.
I just looked up the forcast and they are calling for 1-3" of rain in the area from tomorrow into Saturday, I spent enough time getting wet and muddy last weekend so I'm gonna pass on this one. I do want to hit that place once or twice before the deap snow hits... I think the most fun I had there was with Nate and Mike? last fall on the ice and snow![]()
