Worst fitting slip-on I have ever delt with. Customer support says "force the bolts in, once you run the bike the heat will take the pressure off as the pipe will mold to it's new shape"![]()
The sucky part is, I waited 2 months for it, it fits like shit, and it's quite a bit louder than expected![]()
No matter what I do, I can't get the second band bolt to line up. I can twist the midpipe and change the angle but then it hits the rear shock.
I think I'm just going to return it!!!

If you want quiet the DBsnorkle does take some bark out of the exhaust. I just put one on my yz. I'm going to take it to Wrentham today and see what it's like in the woods.
Hey R7, what's your opinion on gearing on my YZ250 for the woods. I was thinking of either dropping to at least 13-50 or 14-53.

The difference in those 2 ratios you mentioned is so small, it won't even be noticable with the 13/50 (3.845) being a little lower than the 14/53 (3.785).
If that's what you're set on using, I'd go with the 14/53 just because it takes less stress on the chain to go around the bigger front sprocket
ChR1s may be able to get you a better answer on woods gearing than me, asuming it's a ring dinger 250![]()

Mark, what if you swapped those hangers around, back to front?
re: YZ250 gearing
Ran the stock setup on both my 'O2 and 'O6 YZ250 in the woods. No problem with 14/50 for me. I wouldn't want it any lower.![]()

Ok thanks R7 that points me in the right direction. After riding the rocky hillclimbs in Wrentham, I'm thinking more like 13-53(not kidding). I'll probbably take chr1s advice and split the difference. It is a 2 smoker Yz 250.
I rode YZ with the DBsnorkle and I like it. I did quiet things down a lot. It took a lot of the bark out of my PC 203 silencer. It's still louder than a stock KTM woods bike, but no longer offensive.
Looks like it would make it worse.Originally posted by ChR1s

The back one seems too short now... and it's the longer one.

The 2 hangers are the same length/distance, one is just wider. That's one of the first things I checked.
After another hour of busting my balls, a 18" peice of 2x4, another block of wood wedged under the pipe, I got it to force fit like the tech guy wanted itI tried, it's on now and I'm still sending it back. While it's quieter than my KTM woods bike, it's still louder than what I was told
