Go to the registration page to get the waiver. It's page two of the mail in reg. Get it notarized for hassle reduction.

You kids have fun and keep all your bikes pointed in the same direction around the track.

how the F do you put a motorcycle tire back on the rim?!?
it's been like an hour with the irons...f'in A...I might drop off the tire and see if performance cycles will mount it before they close
push down on the opposite side of the tire and wedge the back side of a crescent wrench in between the rim and tire. this holds the opposite bead in the valley of the rim. If it's not in the valley, it will never pull over.
thanks for the responses, I tried Eddie's method but couldn't get the opposite side in the valley of the rim
stone's motorcycle shop said they couldn't do it today because it's before memorial day weekend, but performance cycles said they'd do it before closing (5pm) for just over $30...I may have to bring them a case of cold "thanks" to sweeten the deal
I've got a lead on the XR...what's a non-working 2000 model XR200R worth anyhow? everything else is fine (brakes/tires/rims/clutch/frame) except it will need a new tire in a year
the rear wheel from the donor bike had a worn/cracked Michelin starcross, and surprisingly, I like it better...f it...I'm running that
I tinkered with the jetting the best I could, sprayed lube on the chain, soaked/squeezed the air filter in detergent/dried it/oiled it and put grease around the mating surface of the airbox, sprayed her down, replaced the broken front brake lever, and put the cotter pin back into the rear axle...good enough!
When's a good time to get there?
I'm aiming to arrive by ~7:30am for the riders' meeting...will see you guys there! look for the white 2wd ranger with this magnificent piece of machinery in the back:

MX #505
Ima go surfin.
The field of riders was smaller this year for sure. I was bummed that they had no main events, but the racing was really good. The 30c class had the deepest field of the event and was super fun.
I wonder what happened to rbrais in the gravity cavity? I hope your OK dude. You bike looked really nice before the crash...
I'll show, it'll be 1pm or so before I arrive, and odds are the bike won't come off the trailer. But you had better be there given you put out the call.
I'm actually surprised I'm not sore this morning, just dead tired still. Tired and dehydrated despite downing a case of bottled water yesterday. This headache is going to take a bit to drown away.
^
yep
I am just so fatigued today...nothing hurts, but damn am I tired...
I cropped some of the photos and posted them above
if anyone's still there, can you check near the place where I parked, if a craftsman hand-tool driver is there with an 8mm bit driver on there?
