Knobbies make great teething toys...
Haha. She'll have a full set by then. Hopefully. Will be a long day for her so still undecided.
Tim said he got some flak for trying to put the yz into headlight like he did last year.
really? how come? it's wired for a light isn't it?
Dave said because it wasn't enduro
So run it in some other classes, lots of places it's a direct fit. The key, just show up and play!
And worst case, enter it in enduro anyways, and make a BIIIIG point about strapping the biggest, uglyest lights setup you can to it. Maybe a safari style brush guard for the front made out of Nerf tube, etc? :D
ya just show up
but Dave knows the YZ is a straight MX bike...adding a headlight defeats the purpose of the kind of bikes that he intended to be in that class
ya...plus don't they gear the WR's different? maybe a heavier flywheel, and different valving for the suspension?
when they see his radiators they'll know it's a woods bike :D
In 92 the differences were:
Heavier flywheel with a lighting coil
Larger tank
Matching seat to go with tank
Swingarm with snail style chain adjusters and a sidestand mount (I have a YZ swingarm on my machine currently)
Same suspension, frame, cylinder (porting too), etc. I need to verify the gearbox, it may be a wide ratio but I'm not 100% on that.
I am guessing this would be friendlier for a KDX200 then a CRF450X, true?
I hate the KDX suspension though...

what if i do not have a headlight on my KDX???
Davo says the 150f should make it around just fine with my fat ass on it. Just don't have any hopes of winning or even coming close to the front, lol
noone said anything about launching!!!!!!
I like my feet on the ground
Looks like this would be my pace

WR = wide ratio?
