Last year I thought I would be in good shape for 2 classes, since I was running 5 miles a few times a week. Yea, NO! Kicked my fuckin' ass!
See what happens when you only ride once or twice a year? Hell, I have to replace my tires before the race because they have DRY ROT and the knobs are flaking off.
Signed up for Keepin it real and Old 30C, but probably just play with the 2-smokers so I don't have a heart attack. Drinkin beer over riding is more my style now that I'm no longer a kid.![]()
Keepin It Real & ???????????
I did KIR & Never Ever last time and got beat up on in both. That was, to date, the only time I've been on a MX track in my life.
27.
Crow hill, huh? Maybe on the non-LRRS Saturdays. How much is it? My bank acct more or less belongs to roadracing during the summer.
Hey 6, got plans this Saturday?
Nice. I'll see if I can work it out.
Nice. I'll keep you posted. My best bet of making it is probably convincing 6 to go, since I don't have a functioning truck to throw the dirty bike in.

Im workin in fucking londenderry about 4 ft from a BMX track and daydreaming nicely till somone called my name on a forum and woke me up...
I sold by dirtbike last week, remember?? and you would get hurt at crow hill, you lack wrist restraint, that is good for sandy southwick on a 125, bad for crow hill in the middle of race season.
That being said i could be convinced to go on the yz250 if i can find a sitter.
I know you sold the CR - I also know there's a YZ250 at your house.
If it's the kind of place I'm going to get hurt I'm all set though. I have no issues getting my rusty ass handed to me at southwick, I do have an issue fucking up my road race season playing on the dirty bike on an off weekend.
100% true. I love jumping dirty bikes, but I probably land 60% of my jumps. I just keep trying until I get it, then I start throwing in tricks (and as a result usually go back to crashing, and repeat the try until I get it cycle). A typical day in the pits for me I spend as much time on the ground and picking my bike up as I do riding.
we're getting off topic. someone answer my question, the racing takes place on saturday for stimilon right?

Now that I think of it....in Old 30C everyone is both old, and slow...just like me! Why would I want to ride in the K.I.R. with people like Tony Laruso and any amature and expert/pro that can get their hands on a 2-Stroke?
Plus it's only 4 laps instead of 5. Considering I'm good for almost 2 laps, I'll finish at least half the race!![]()
