NE and headlight are the ticket. The headlight race was a riot. Should be a lot of fun.
I doubt very much that anyone will have the legs to ride 2 full days at the wick, but it's only a 40 dollar risk to take. I'm on the fence.

Re: Stimilon Race Class Choices
Screw that. One day of riding a year is all I'm good for. :teehee:

Re: Stimilon Race Class Choices
K, training for Stimilon officially starts today. I plan to ride sand as much as possible from this afternoon til the event. If anyone wants to join, I'll be out there at noon tomorrow. I also took the week leading up to the 4th off completely. I'm doing Jersey, but I'd like to hit CH at least once or twice as well.
I've got a top end ordered, new sprocket and chain, let the dirty riding begin for realz.
-
Re: Stimilon Race Class Choices

If you are coming up here give me a call.
I need to do this dirty thing. Is my 450x gonna be too heavy? Will you guys take me under your wing and show me the ropes if I come down?
-
Re: Stimilon Race Class Choices
I am ridding 2 -3 times a week right now. Plus I think I am going to try a race at Rider Hill next weekend for the first time.

I've managed to 'toss' a 450 around MX207 for a couple laps, you'll be fine.
Oh, and on the training I think I'll start too. I have a half eaten box of KIX in the cupboard, maybe that for breakfast instead of Dunkin Donuts will be just the ticket?
-
Re: Stimilon Race Class Choices
No, eating the box won't help. Could make you more "regular" though...
-
Re: Stimilon Race Class Choices
I think the best pratice will be to walk over to your bike, nock it over, pick it up and repeat several times.

I was hoping I could just wear a skimpy sundress and show a little leg each time I fall and get a big burly man to pick my bike up for me.

Where the men have velcro gloves.
Where the only difference between a moose and a woman is flannel.
