Sunday (Aug 12th) - W Mass?

So... thinking of hitting up Pittsfield Forest again this Sunday.

I know it's a race weekend so some peeps are not around, but if anyone's interested, post up.

Otherwise, I might try and get lost again on the KLR.

Actually it's gonna be a while before i'm on the KX again anyway. I'm just hoping to be able to ride dirt by the end of the season... after some more physical therapy & alot more strength conditioning on the wrist I'll hopfully be able to give you a shout.

In Mass.:

If your bike does not have a street registration you'll need an "ATV" (ORV) plate for riding on ANY land that you do not personally own, UNLESS you are entered in a competetive event.

Mass. does not recognize any other state's off-road registration, but any other state's street registration does suffice.

Thanks. Then I guess my CT ATV plate does me no good at all. CT sucks...
Some day I'll get a MA plate...

Just get the MA plate. We'll be doing lots of rides come fall... most weekends in fact.

Paul and crew... we need to finalize the details on the 18th/19th deal.

The two forests are not really near eachother? where are we sleeping? etc.

Anyway, we should start a new thread for that... the other one got bastardized.

Leaving Friendly's Parking Lot in Westfield at 8:45AM. (if anyone wants to?)

Meet at the ORV parking area.

Of course... this means we'll be doing Beartown two weekends in a row... which I guess I'm OK with.

If you do B-Town both ways, that's gotta be close to 40 mi.

And if you took the WR one weekend and the KLR the next, it'd be a whole other kinda experience.

I'd take the KLR to Pittsfield, but not Beartown.
