I am looking to find a motor builder local to NE that has a good reputation for building solid/reliable four stroke dirt bike engines in a timely fashion to bring my motor/bike to. Does anyone here at NESR have any recommendations?
My original plan was to tear the motor apart myself and go through it as a learning experience but I just don't have the time that I thought I would. I really want to get back out on the racetrack this season and I need a motor that will stay together and run well.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Joel
I've heard of Robs Racing in Merrimack, NH. Don't know much about them though...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have sent out a few emails already to a couple of the people mentioned and I will see where it goes. Next step will probably be to decide on someone and bring them the motor and my credit card

Leo Vadnais, Vadnais Machine,Keene,N.H.
Contact Mike Green. He uses Narbones motor guy. Sean something or other.
There is always Jim Pidgeon in manchester nh also. Very reasonably priced and it's who I use for my engine work.

Eric Paquette of DAS Performance builds Narbonne's motors (at least last I knew he did). I already talked to him a little about doing this last year. Maybe I'll give him a call again and see if he feels like taking a look.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Eric Paquette build's Shane's four cylinder engines for RR.As far as the 450's go,I asked Alan, there is nobody in particular that he uses.Ron Hamp is the man for dirt track heads and engine work, but is not local to here. When asked who he would use,he said next time around it would be Leo Vadnais.
Good to know!
Looks as though a friend of mine and I will be tearing it apart sometime in the near future to see what's going on. He conned me into it and I really wanted to do it myself anyhow so here goes nothing.

I think Mike Green uses Sean Sweeney. Seans son Tyler rides Mikes KTM and or CR500 at LRRS races.
