LOTS of cutting & clean-up now. I don't really need any more dropped, neither for parking purposes nor firewood. I'll be bringing the splitter out there for the big stuff, but I'll be pulling the managable logs outta there and finishing those up at the house. I'm TRYING to clear up Fri/Sat/Sun this weekend. Same offer'll stand this weekend if anyone wantsta have some non-riding woodsy fun or get some saw action in or even just feels like getting exercise the old fashion way...

i propose this. since i never made a stonnerstock during bike week why don't you have a grand trail opening during bike week? i can ditch the old lady bring the wheeler and vodka and "help" finish things up on your trail system. whata think?

This weekends out, weekend after is a long one. I can make time in between riding to do some labor and socialize the dogs.

You in? I'm cleared to spend the weekend out there. I'd LOVE to get it all cleaned up this weekend, but it's a long shot...

Mostly just cuttin' & piling brush & shit. Once it's cleaned up, I think I have someone to bring some machinery in and grade it...

Big Shirl, Canaan & I are gonna be heading out there in a coupla hours. Gonna start by hauling what we can outta there - probably take a few trips. Then we'll hopefully have time to get into some cutting/bucking & piling brush today too...

Managed to pull a few decent loads outta there and sort out some brush piles yesterday. Didn't have much time to do any cutting 'cuz we were too busy chasing Canaan around out there! Probably head out in a coupla hours to do some cutting & more hauling. Beyond the firewood, it's starting to look good out there and it's really taking shape...

Also talked to wunna the local ATV clubs yesterday that's DYIN' for permission to help with trails out there. Our property would connect a few different trails systems they already maintain and would increase their grant money for trail creation & maintanence. Looks like I've got materials lined up to do some minor improvements on the old discontinued road and some equipment to help prep the parking area through these guys!

I gotta start breaking 'em down to smaller piles. The town the property's in requires permits regardless and they're reluctant to gimme one 'cuzza where the property is. Once I clear the firewood out, we'll break the piles down to smaller ones and torch 'em when it rains. If I were able to light 'em now, we'd be out there for three days the way they are!

BIG clean-up plans this weekend & no kids to worry about! I've got someone lined up to meet me out there Tuesday with a tractor to cut the banking down at the clearing at the old road and do some light improvement-type stuff to the road leading down to the lots. gettin' there!

We got a shitload done yesterday. Having the tractor out there was HUGE. Got some big-ass stone cleared from across the old road (they were 'in the way' and made it damn near impossible to back into the lot), dug some up from the road, cleared a few small stumps, did some minor leveling and used it to load up some huge maple chunks. While he was running the tractor, I managed to get an assload of cutting done. Little more cutting & lots of hauling. Gotta get it ALL cleaned up for the excavator I've got scheduled in a coupla weeks!
