They started working on this trail while I was hiking the Appalachian trail. Sounds interesting.

Edit: Hmmm... now I'm not sure if this is the same one I had heard about back then. It has the same name...???

I would be quite interested in doing that actually, seems like a once-in-a-lifetime type adventure.

Since it would require me to buy ANOTHER bike (would get one specific for this type of journey) I propose planning for a 2008 Ride. Also would require about a month off of work to do it.
