what downhill double are you guys talking about? the one near the parking area?

i'm only semi-comfy with two of the easier doubles but love the fact that there is more of a range this year for me to work on.

basically, if you start at the right hander where the sand hill straight away is that goes up/out back and work backwards....you go back 2-3 turns and you will be at the double we were talking about. You hit it down a hill and then go right into a stepup type jump, then right hander that goes down to the 2 jumps that lead into the right hander to the uphill sand straight.

ps- ya the track is totally rideable for any skill level

got it, thanks. i was scared of that one all day never even tried to double it. the lip was nice and sharp too.

my mistake early on was smacking the face of the new smaller double right before the one you're talking about, with the left-hander after it.

ah ya, that downhill one has the sharpest lip out there I believe. For the small double 2 turns before that I like to take the inside up that right hander and just gas it while sitting down off the lip.

Ya, that's the one. The ramps have been nice and sharp lately making it easier to try the tougher ones. It also makes the consequences of coming up short a little sharper. Overall I think they have found a good balance between fun and risk with this layout.

that would work nicely, then jam directly into the left hander. i kept taking the inside line before that small double but just goofed every time. the lip on the outside line wasnt as sharp, should have started there.

Overall I think they have found a good balance between fun and risk with this layout.

completely agree. psyched to ride tomorrow AM... btw, my number plates for Stimilon should be here any minute. gonna feel funny to have plates on again but i snagged my old racing number from back in the day #22 wOoT!
