I'm headed down there tomorrow, if you see a guy on a green KDX220 with red fox gear, come say hi
i think Squirrel is riding there Sunday
Beta 200RR
I rode there last Friday. It was good fun. There was some deep sand, some ruts and a steep jump with either 4th or 5th gear for those so inclined. Easy to get crossed up on jump faces for novices like me. I had the track to myself much of the afternoon, all for $20. Well worth the 60 mile one way trip in my opinion.

I was there last Sunday, had a lot fun working up to speed. Looking forward to getting better tomorrow
Strongly considering it, short ride down from Quincy. Only 2 days on an MX track so far so I'm about as novice as it gets.
I'll be on a CRF250R, I'll be set up by a black Z71 and pop up tent if I make it.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
You should come, this is my second day on any MX track too, it took me about an hour to get used to the jumps but now I love them
Wirelessly posted
I will most likely be there tomorrow

Not going to make it today Mark, I'm stuck doing yard work today. I'll definitely be down in the near future though, have a good time.

Yard work instead of riding! That's bizarro world
I know, it's sad. In this case doing yard work will help support another type of riding I enjoy...

The track was great, weather couldn't have been better, I had a great time. I probably need a different bike instead of the KDX, but still managing just fine. I ALMOST have the last kicker down to where I'm not landing in the flat
bike is finally back together... see you out there soon![]()

Anyone planning on going this weekend?

Sweet, I'll be aiming for Saturday- pretty sure I have to celebrate Christ's resurrection on Sunday with ham and booze.

^ same here, except i'll just be celebrating booze.

Just watched a video of the track, looks pretty n00b friendly. I know the sand is a bit more challenging than the surfaces I've rode so far but at least the jumps don't look too intimidating.

Its very beginner friendly. They break down into different groups on busy days etc... Not sure how old the video you watched is but theres really only 1 sand section now. they have trucked in a massive amount of clay and dirt and really revamped the track over the past 2 years.

Likely this is an old video, looks like it's all sand. Only a couple of jumps at that point also which isn't all bad for me, I still have a lot of work being comfortable on the bike. Even at 6'3" 240 this 250R is a lot of bike.

I'm about 99% sure I'll be there tomorrow. Fitted a full FMF exhaust on there this afternoon and a Bazzaz ZFI. Haven't got it to turn over since I put the Bazzaz on there but I'm sure I'll get it sorted before the day is out.
Black Z71, I'll have an easy up set up at the back of the truck. If you see me on the track, help me up. 👍
Edit: helps if you connect the ground 😐
