So Chris and I did the Mont Tremblant trackday on mon and tues. The track is great mostly fast sweepers. very few slow technical corners. and the surface is ultra smooth. We left sunday at 2:45 pm and arrived at our hotel ( which was super nice and within walking distance of the track) at 8 pm. It was a nice short easy drive.
The riding was good for the first couple of sessions until some guy on an old ducati cut me off and I woke up in an ambulance w/ a concussion and a broken collar bone. So i got to watch chris on tuesday. He looked like he was having fun and was getting faster with each lap.

No apparently I managed to miss him and he went on his merry way. He wasn't there the next day or I would have said something to him....did the ass on the duc get his ass reamed or what? That ain't cool.
I also need to give a big thanks to Chris for helping me out up there. I really appreciate all of the help he gave me.

Oh shit! Steve, sorry about your get-off. Get the bike back together and get yourself up to snuff for the next trackday.
No problem Steve. I was just very happy that you were walking and talking.
The bike didn't look bad. A new peg and it was rideable.
The track was really nice. Fucking fast. Lots on elevation changes and mostly right turns. It's Canada so they run clockwise! The red and white curbs were cool as was the schane! My new Qualifiers worked very well! The pits sucked though. All gravel pit area. The loudspeakers worked great!
Glad I was in the beginner group with about 14 other riders because they didn't seem to spread the other groups out at all. Huge packs of bikes following each other around. Sad.
We picked the wrong week to go. The dollar is at, like, a 28 year low! We paid $70 cdn for 16 gallons of gas! Gulp!

Always cost a fortune in gas in Quebec....I didn't know there was a track at Mont-Tremblant! That's where we did our group ride 2 summers ago (was posted on here). I'm sorry for your mishap, but glad you're ok...![]()
