How to turn in better in 12 and ratchet the throttle instead of smacking it wide open when leaning over coming onto the front straight. Just sayin'...

short video of me on the past track day any tips would be great!!
Your pit out sucked. Stay closer to the left of the track as you exit 2.
Your entry in 3 looked good but your exit should drift out under power more, (you need to get on the gas after the apex and not coast up the hill)
Your line in 6 looked too wide.
You can brake after the treehouse in 8, you can carry ALOT more speed in 9... you can gain alot of speed 9-12.
Brake later. Gas sooner! and do more trackdays!
What group did you sign up for with LAPS?

Ok so where are all the other (better) instructors at with their teachings?
This is giving me a good idea of what to pay attention to the next time I am Instructing.![]()

Just teach everyone what you learned at polen, I'll be first in line.

What you do is whack it wide open sooner... while transitioning from right to left. By the time you reach full lean you have gotten up above the steepest part of the torque curve... You also accelerate well before the transition this way.
This works to awesome effect on lightweight bikes.
Doc, are you asking us to train you? Because we have spent 10 years developing a curriculum and teaching method at TTD. We have staff meetings, a course guide, etc. etc. It's a lot of work and not just a bunch of good guys giving random tips. We know what works from experience, msf training, ARC training, racing success, and we have written it down, edited it, and Ken has even published a TON of material. It's what makes us different from most other trackday orgs. It's what we sell. You can't just have it!
One word of advice though... people (outside of the military anyway) don't like to be told they suck, beginners or not.
