Doesn't look like they are going anywhere yet. According to their Facebook, they have some sweet shirts for members, sick r6 rental bikes, even Ukrainian models as umbrella girls.
They even partnered up with a motorcycle dealership.
Keep up the fight boys.

You're too funny Sam!
I thought this was covered in the other thread.
They're going to keep up the illusion until they pull the plug (as any business in that situation would do)
And then hopefully they'll liquidate their assets to recover as much loss as possible.
So, keep your eyes open for sick r6's.
Really, I hope they make it through this.
The track is fun, they were excellent hosts, and selfishly, I wanna go back.

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
I'd buy that r6.
Real question is how much does a Ukrainian model go for these days?![]()

Not sure which would be worse...seeing the entire effort going to waste, or knowing how fun it was but seeing it become another trust funder's private playground...
I'm keeping optimistic that what needs to be done is simply follow proper approval protocols going forward, give the nimby's their chance to vent and be heard in a future proper public forum, and then let the town recognize that they can tax the crap out of the track so they will approve it over the nimby's objection.
...discovering new ways to bring outside money into small towns; the American way. For once, greed may be on our side. Unfortunately, time likely isn't.
In all seriousness, though, I'm glad see them working hard to keep this going. I realize that some of this is just putting out fires, I think it's a good sign. I think everyone is overreacting a little.
If people want to ride there this year, they should sign up with Tony or get the membership. Worst case scenario is you get your money back and you'll be a little disappointed.

When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

My guess is even if the NIMBY's get their way, the track will still run under the more limited deal until they refile.
This is another reason I'm not too worried. One way or another I am confident we'll be running the track.

They can bring in USGPRU.
I would like to preface this next statement by first stating, I am in no way affiliated with NYST, I have no direct knowledge of what there future plans are and this is entirely my opinion
I think regulating cc size is going to be very hard. Unless they assign a town official to stand at the entrance to the track and look on vin stickers or engine imprints. The town is very small, so they would probably have to create the position and budget money towards their salary. Not going to happen. Also, number of people might equally be as hard to regulate. The neighbors are going to count bikes on the back of a truck as they drive up the road? What about enclosed trailers? What about people who have multiple bikes?
Total speculation on my part. If I was a resident and heard there was a bill to delegate funds to regulate a private track, I would not be happy. So maybe they have to keep records and submit them. I'm sure those records would be very accurate.![]()

Or another scenario...
NYST, llc donates a new cruiser to the local police station. That "donation" entitles that their new regulations go through without any issues. Politics is dirty.

On another note, TTD has a couple new dates at NHMS ...

Looks like NHMS had a bunch of people back out already and have dates to fill again.

This...and, one other track day organization has apparently decided that they won't be running NYST this year...
I don't know if the fat lady has peformed her aria yet, but if NYST is the only track day you're planning on you might want to have a plan B...!!!

Just so we're all on the same page, that's the same exact article from two weeks ago that sparked this whole thing.

Saw on FB last night that Fishtail is the next one on the bandwagon to abandon NYST... I don't think they had any days there, so maybe they're just using all this to their advantage to fill their days...
