Yeah I'll be instructing beginner & intermediate. That means I usually use my Monster, cheap gas, more comfy, street tyres (Corsa III's which are nice!) and fun. Of course I will most likely bring the SS for some fun last session runs too..

Excellent. I'm in the intermediate group and ride a monster. I can use a few tips. I'm hanging off the bike but still dragging hard parts. As soon as Owens post the pics I'll post some for comments.

I just tried the corsa III yesterday on the track, they are nice!

What year Monster? Have you raised the rear ride height?

It's a 98 and no not yet. I don't know why i did n't think of it at the track.

Just so you know if you raise the rear it WILL change the handling of the bike. It will make it turn faster , but also make it less stabile at speed (twitchy). Try it,it's easy & you might actually prefer the handling after (I do). If you do not just raise the front the same amount as the rear( i.e. move the forks down in the triples).
