Camping at thompson

How does camping at Thompson work? Can we leave our vehicles in the pit area or do we move everything out? Where would you be able to set up a tent? Can you get a good night's sleep or does it get crazy after hours?
I'm trying to convince my wife to camp out this weekend and the more info I have the better chance I can get her to do it.

THere's some grassy areas to camp and you can leave your bikes and vehicle in the pit. We did have one group that got a little crazy last year, but they are not coming back, so peaceful as can be.

I was thinking about camping tomorrow night as well. Kinda makes more sense instead of waking up at 4:30 to get set up by 7. Is there anywhere to grab some breakfast?

I camped in the parking lot under my easy-up. Nothing whatsoever to complain about, got a great nights sleep.

Another thing to remember is that Thompson security has historically locked the garages at night, usually right around quiet time. If you plan to work on your bike...plan around that.

So I can plan on leaving the bike and trailer in the pit area after the TD then take my truck and go grab some food and find a grassy spot to set up on? Sounds good to me.
