Just spent 2 days at NJMP riding Thunderbolt, one of their two tracks. Very technical, with no walls, amazing surface. Well worth the drive to central New Jersey.
Have you done Palmer yet?
Eh it’s alright. Nothing special about it.
Fast and flowing. Very cool having your knee down at 100+mph coming onto the front straight!

Definitely a fun track! Infinitely more fun if you're on a 600 or liter bike!

Got a chance to ride a 2023 S1000RR at Thunderbolt - my brain couldn't adjust to how quickly the fast right hander came appeared at the end of the front straight. An experience I won't soon forget.
I always liked Jersey. Never thought of it as technical though. So many fast sweepers. To be doing over a 100mph as you are coming onto the straight is sick.
I haven't been in s couple years, but it need a repave in that left after wheelie hill (turn 6?) And in the carousel.
Always wanted to ride lightning, too.

OI could not agree more. Once you get there it's a nice complex, Fast and fun.h.... and the drive there sucks.
But would rather drive to VIR or Summit .
speaking of fast turns, the horseshoe at VIR South! as well as coming up through turn 7.
Never rode the big track. Looks fun.
Your from the south, ever ride Jennings? It kind of reminded me of thunderbolt, but flat.

well been to Homestead and Barber and road Atlanta are just long hauls. going 84 to 81 makes them easier. never said Summit was a bad drive? NJ is just a pain form NH. 84 west sucks thought CT. Garden state parkway is a pain and then The NJ turnpike. doing it in reverse coming home on a Sunday night bites the chicken!Try Homestead, Road America, Road Atlanta, or Barber. then tell me how Summit sucks to drive to
