thanks for the input Dave. The small hose between the radiator and thermostat (18) had a hole in it so I trimmed it and put a small spring clamp on it...that worked for most of the day, until i noticed more water leaking and engine temp running high. I havent looked at the hose yet, but i'm assuming it is not withstanding the pressure, and i'll need some better hose and a better clamp. It was pretty much straight water yesterday which didn't help.

Timmy! Nice to meet ya (again?), bro. And props for gettin the girl out there too! Good to see she had a good time. What's her name again? She's a cutie... better keep a close eye on her

Glad to hear you got the bike somewhat squared away and at least ridable for most of the day.

That same hose blew out again, i need to pick up some better hose or just get the stock hose from suzuki. sucks to miss 3 sessions out of the 2 days, but it could have been worse. Sunday after lunch was a frigin blast!

Yeah, Crystal is hooked! She started riding 13 months ago and she's a fast learner.

    Yeah... that was stupid fun.

    The trackday was great!

My R1 was running a little hot as well. After sessions, I would set up the fan to help cool it off.

well mine actually burst a coolant line b/c the previous owner replaced it with the wrong hose (fuel line) which couldnt handle the pressure. She'll be ready for Monti by Aug2. It was an LRRS bike, but maybe never had to endure 20 minute session at 100 deg F temps...
