Check out Channel 9 (WMUR) tomorrow night (Tues May 12) at 7:30pm for NH Chronicle. They were at the April 27-28 Fishtail event to do a story on us.
If you were there, you may be famous! (Manny, Kermita, Brewmaster...)
You can check it out at www.wmur.com as well.

You probably won't be able to see it online until it airs tomorrow at 7:30pm.
Try this for a link: http://www.wmur.com/chronicle/19387897/detail.html
Not sure if you MA guys get it down there. Check it out though, channel 5's weekend weatherman is a regular Fishtail dude - Mike Wankum, rides an R6 or something I think. I told him I've been waiting for him to say "great day to hit the track" or something. He says he slides a comment in now & then, but I've never heard it.

I was at our favorite local Mexican place and I looked at one of the big screens and swore I saw Loudon. Sure enough, I did! Very cool guys!

My father-in-law was interviewed while up there but we missed the brodcasting to see if he made the cut... Any older guys in 90's looking white / green / purple leathers on there?
He was the one on the police BMW...![]()
to clarify I mean the offroad looking police BMW since I think there were a couple there...

I hope I can find that video online as they interviewed Tim, Jean, and some other folks I know. It should be fun to watch but I don't get that channel.
VinceF2: I had fun zipping past your father-in-law on my SV650 as well as watching him. Carefully though as it's a school and he is a police officer!!! He and I both crashed in T10 during those two days too (damn I hate crashing). He was also the only guy out of the police contingent that was really using his body and hustling the machine although he appeared older than the other guys. Then again those guys can probably roll an RT at 0.0004 mph without any weaving or unsteadiness as they were from Cambridge. I live in Cambridge and until you leave it's hard to hit more than 30 mph even if you are willing to break the law.I would take that job in Ashland over Cambridge any day...
Dave
Ya he raced for a season or two on one of the Wood brothers old 600 Kawasaki's... brought it down to Daytona in 2003 I believe... anyway... those "trainings"are his only track time these days... but I know he mentioned some people there saying he was riding the sh*t out of that BMW... thing only has about 45hp to it's single cylinder

Yeah Vince, he was riding the heck out of it (at least for us track day riders) and had great form. My only track day safe passes were out of 10 on the outside and the front straight as I was pretty similar in other places and he was leaving darkies up the hill... having kissed pavement the day before I wasn't so bold.Glad to hear he has track experience as otherwise I would have to say he must have been a delinquent.
BMW had been being so good with their bikes but the new 650 is an 800 parallel twin that is detuned a bit compared to the F800. His older one has nowhere near as much go power but damn it must have flat torque as I know those aren't very light.
Dave
He passed me pretty easily many times. He also did a small wheelie leaving the hot pit area (heading back to the garages). Stunta!
