Hoping for good news.
Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul.
Current: 690E. Past: FE250, S1000XR, S1000R, Streefighter S, Monster S2R1000, RC51
Unfortunately, looks like it was not good news.
It appears the judgment was upheld, so I'm guessing we're looking at small groups and possibly CC limits.
Waiting for the track to answer my email now.
Ruh roh!

Sorry that was pretty much the whole email and it was from Victoria at NYST. I assume for the official prospectus with correct number of bikes and displacement following all the correct rules.
From Greg. Essentially they didn't have a fair trial to start. So now both sides are going well prepared. I'm gonna try to make it down. Hopefully it doesn't rain so I can take the scooter. What better way to show up to a hearing about a motorcycle track then on a load motorcycle :-D
Anyone hear how Friday's court hearing went?
I was there. Pretty much the Lawyer for the Rural life people kept saying NYST was in contempt of court. Long drawn out stories ect ect.
NYST lawyer shot back with the bikes are limited to 20 bikes plus 5 coaches per session. The bikes were also limited to 250cc upon arriving to the track.
The lady from the town wasn't making any friends with the judge. Essentially the town dropped the ball.
In the end the judge said he will give his ruling in 14 days.
Cool... TTD is there in 7 days!
We'll be running about 45 bikes total so group sizes will be real small!
What was the hearing actually about? Whether or not the track can even operate?
LRRS #313
The rural people accuse the track of operating outside of what the court ordered. Essentially they are running "Super bikes" and not limiting them to 250cc and there are to many bikes on track.
Plus there was a posted "race". A pit bike race. To be held later this summer. The rural people and the judge lit the track up on this. In short the race has been canceled.

My guess is fines are the next step.

doesn't sound promising...
Yea, I agree with it not sounding promising based on that article. Im just glad I was running my 2001 GSXR250 when I was there recently so I was not in contempt of court. Maybe I should have bought this weekend as I dont see Tony dealing with this track beyond this year.
You still could. I will be sad to see this track go, although hopefully that will mean more TTDs that aren't 4.5 hours away next year
