This will be my 1st ever track day, I'm planning on going up sometime Sunday and most likely getting a hotel room for the night. I have a full size extended cab pickup and I haven't decided whether or not I'm gonna rent a trailer or just load up in the back of my truck. The problem lies in my truck averages 8-10mpg doesn't matter if it's fully loaded and pulling a fully loaded 10klb trailer or empty, gas mileage is always the same. Is anyone else going that either needs a ride or has extra room for me and my cbr to help share fuel expenses.
Also does anyone have any advice on anything I should be prepared for, I got all my gear and I know what needs to get done to my bike, but other then that I'm really not sure what to expect. Is camping at the track allowed (well I'd just be sleeping in my truck technically as a worse case scenario)
camping is allowed at track. im me for more details on what you should do for the day.
If you Priceline it, you can usually get a nice hotel room for around $40 within 15 minutes of the track. Gotta go grab breakfast either way, may as well wake up someplace warm and comfortable.

i didn't even think about Priceline, thanks I'm gonna look into that now!!!
Last time I did it, I think $40 was the sweet bid to get into the Hampton Inn in Concord. Nice place, free breakfast, close to the highway.
