Definitely worth the drive now:
Summit Main repave spy pics....day 1 - DCSportbikes.net: Your DC Sportbike Information Portal
Don't know if anyone is familiar with the track or not, but they used to have concrete patches thru a few turns....... not anymore!
The cars will fuck it up before the bikes get a chance to ride on it.
i hear it a fun track ... i'm going to try and make a point to go race there next year

...wonder if they are going to do anything with Jefferson?

One of my NY shops told me that all three circuits were getting repaved, including Jefferson.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

...cool...
For a fat old guy on an air cooled, 2 valve twin, Jefferson is a hoot!!!

If your goint to Summit Point don't miss the chili. It's fuckin epic shit!!!!!
Yep, cars fucked it up quick. Just got back from 3 days at Summit, one on Main and two on Jefferson. Not as bad as it was but you still have to adjust your line to avoid the worst of it. T1 and the tight left hander into the carosel (sp?), T5 I think, have some good ripples. Still better than a day at work though!
I raced karts down there. It was one of the bumpier tracks, but one of the few driver's tracks on the circuit. I'd love to see it now that its paved.
