I'm a new owner of a 5 lb maltese...
curious as to whether little petite dogs are allowed at trackday events at NHIS (Tony's Trackday) and other tracks (NJMP)????
this is new to me, as I'm trying to plan events, looking into hotels that accept small dogs etc...
......and I don't even know if they are allowed on the track premises.
Yup, no problem unless they get run over by a rider or eaten by a hungry corner worker.
Obviously ya gotta keep em on a leash & clean up after them, but I'm guessin that goes w/o saying.

Could you shave it before you bring it up?
I hate when the hair gets stuck in my teeth.
mmmmmm...slow roasted Maltese. Maybe a nice dry rub and a good red wine.

Worst case scenario, lots of people have BBQ grills at the track.....
My dog takes shits that weigh more than that...![]()

Yeah, but their good eats. Because of jnm988's post, i started having thoughts of a nice chipolte (sp) dry rub and a nice selection of ice cold Mexican beer, with salt and limes.

Add some well-marinated teriyaki kitty and it sounds like a party to me...

If Traci is the one on the back of the bike, why does she look so unhappy?
Who can be unhappy watching the action in T#6 on a beautiful sunny day?

If you run into a wall with a helmet on, you still ran into a wall.
I bring my dog to the track once in a while. He sits in the RV in the A/C on the front seat most of the time because I don't want him in the way in the garage. When I'm in between races I take him out and away from the garages around the infield and such. There is nothing worse than a pet in your way when your getting ready to head out onto the track.
You also need to pick up the poop. I make a point to watch pet owners at the track to see if they pick up the poop. Some of them don't!! Last yeat at one of the riders meetings they announced that they found poop ON THE TRACK. WTF be responsible and pick up after your pet!!!
Really what it comes down to is be a responsible pet owner, and realize that not everyone likes pets.
My suggestion is leave them at home unless you have no other option. The only time my dogs is at th etrack now is if I have no other option or my GF is there to watch him.

Sorry I wasted my time with a serious response.

my dogs are the only thing that keeps me out of the garage. they like to roll around and wrestle in the grass. if i know its going to be raining all weekend...i leave them home.
