Anybody tried to use the site lately? I searched for the Tony's Day I did early August (9th) and the search comes up as contents not found. The Boston Moto day on the 14/15th of last month still isn't up.

Just wasn't sure if anyone had any info...

they're up... he has a weird way of organizing them though...
they're all the way at the bottom ( just be careful of the year ) because they're next to 2006 editions.

I am not happy with them at all..I ordered my Sunday of that weekend and its now been 3 weeks with no CD, they havent charged my card and have no responded to my email. At this point I may just cancel my order if they even have it.

Sent an email as well with no reply. Curious if everything is going well with the ORP Crew. I know its a tough business shooting race weekends, TD's and other events to keep shit straight. Things have been moving much slower than usual though.

FWIW. After Fishtail in July, I did not get email replies either when I checked 2 weeks after. But about 16+ business days after the event they got posted. Others have commented that the delay seems about that long previously. I would guess any hour/day now.

Yeah I'm not impressed at all - the photos are great but the upselling on the wait times are rediculous. At the track he says "I'll have them burned on a CD and in the mail you will have them before the end of the week." Now we're in September and there's nothing.


And all these guys wonder why their business's are declining on them?

I ordered mine from the TTD on Aug. 9th. I got them and they were great but it took almost 3 weeks.

I went out with Penguin Yesterday (Sept. 3) John Owens was not there the guy that works for him was doing the shots. I didn't aks why John wasn't there. Maybe he is taking some time off.

It's not as simple as picking out the images and copying them to the CD. I believe each image is tweaked individually. The finished product is amazing. Trust me, even if you look at the samples on the web site you can't tell how good John's work is until you get the CD in the mail. I did the 9th and 10th and ended up with 34 images all which were of magazine cover quality (at least from the photographers standpoint).

sweet. thanks for the update. I look forward to getting my CD. John and his helper who's name I cannot remember. Mark maybe? are good people and do good work so I like to support them.

I've ordered many times from them. TOP quality stuff too...The website does them no justice.

Usually 2-4 weeks out I get them, But I also don't mark the days off on my calender. I'm sure he is a busy guy.

Pictures usually take 3 weeks to arrive. Now, I'm at the track a lot and have seen a lot of photographers. John is the best. You can see it in the details. He can get a razor sharp focus and still give a sense of speed, which is not easy. I had to buy a set recently as I just thought they were really exceptional... (these have been compressed)

I got the same message, I did a Tonys day in October and he was there but no pics posted as of December!!
