Ordered track plastics

Ordered a full set of track plastics for my CBR the other day when i was home
(including the tank cover). Should be here early next week

I got them from hot bodies so I know i'll have to do a lil work to them but i think they will be fine. Now its time to rattle can it matt black and get it ready for July 15th..

well they arrived today

I stripped my bike down and took the headlight assembly and all that just off and started to fit stuff.

For hotbodies it isnt that bad, i have to figure a few things out but I guess ill find out more tommorow

Heading now to get stuff to paint it!

well i was bored and went ahead and did it.

They fit decently, gonna have to do some prep work before paint but it should be ok. I only have to put in a few more bolts and then the fasteners.
Then my rearsets, clear windscreen, new brake fluid, engine ice, prep and paint(belly pan black, top white??), and maybe a few more little things...

hahah ok...they wont be mounted on the bike...i just spent 2 hours putting all the regular fairings back on

i painted the belly pan black and the rest of the fairings white except for the front fender (ran out of paint) i think they came out awesome!

I found some decals on ebay so 4.95 and im in business

hahah jim you were right they are dzus fasteners....

n e who...got it painted and put together and got my clear windscreen, mounting the bank angle sensor was a PITA!

I just put on new EBC brake pads, engine ice, and cleaned/lubed the chain. Now all I have to do is safety wire the bitch.

i think it came out okay for a first time try....hotbodies race stuff is just eh from what i can tell...but once again im no bodywork guy so i bet it could have been better
