[QUOTE=Honclfibr;353410]Glad you we got off the track at 5:30 yesterday and after a minor trailer incident (1 7/8 != 2)
Please Explain 1 7/9 =2 ?
"!=" means does NOT equal

I just got home.
Good to see everyone and thanks to Derek, Chris, and Chad for letting me ride their bikes.

A 1-7/8" trailer ball is not a 2" trailer ball.

No, it isn't.
We initially used the 2" ball on the bumper of my truck, but the stupid thing came loose somewhere in Pennsylvania, and I didn't have the right tool to fix it. I did have a receiver with what I thought was a 2" ball, so we used that for the rest of the trip. When I went to hook the trailer back up to leave, I noticed that my ball was only a 1 7/8".Thankfully, Darrell's trailer has such tremendous tongue weight we hadn't had a problem. We stopped at the AutoZone on the way home and got a new receiver with a 2" ball.
Some rather lousy pics:

Zombie and uhh....a guy whose screen name I dont remember.
My camera battery died the first day. But, I did buy a CD of pics the photographer got of me (and some others) on my bike, so I should get that in the mail in the next couple of days.
How to work on EX.
1st always use the proper tools!
I'll let someone else explain the last photo....![]()

I almost forgot.....Oreo was the mothafuckin' karting ace, posting one of the best lap times and being a team captain. His team would have won, but Pete went through a session where every kart he sat in spontaneously combusted. In between broken throttle cables and an entire wheel falling off, I think he rode 4 karts.

Back at 1am last night.
Had a blast, even with the crash!

THAT... was muthafukin fun... I had a blast tearing around that thing & my team did pretty good all things considered. We went from being 8 laps down to getting tied for 4th place... and that's w/ an unexpected tire change, MY tire falling OFF cuz the guy that changed it broke one of the 3 bolts so he only put it on w/ two... and then two brake cables snapping, so yea, I went through 4 kartsBut it wasn't just the good driving, other teams had mechanicals as well which helped us out big. Darrell's kart broke down a few times, too.
I'm bummed my camera shit the bed, i woulda gotten shots of everyone on my team & all of you guys too.

A lesson was learned the hard way, that's what happened
Cracked the jugs & popped both freeze plugs, aka my own stupidity. Symptoms weren't spotted when i took it for a test ride before dropping it off at Darrell's for transport two weeks ago.
Oil journals were not compromised, just leaking water. Nothing a little JB Weld can't fix. Already fixed the crack on the outside, just have to repair the freeze plugs in the head. I may see if i can JB weld the crack on the inside as well while I've got the heads off.
... time to study the Clymer's manual.

On the up side, Steve let me ride his Duc SS, Degsy let me ride his 600RR and Chad let me ride his SV650. All of which I thoroughly enjoyed and are favors I'll be sure to repay when the occasion arises.
I think an SV is in my future.... a 600 if i could afford to race one.

All 600RR pics. Real fun bike to ride. I enjoyed riding Chad's SV the most however probably due to the fact it was the only 'racebike' out of the 3 I rode. Stiffer suspension, GP shift, and I'm at home on twins... Definintely had the most comfort and cornerspeed on the lil SV. Nothing quite like power wheeling a 600 thou and just having it pinned thru the kink.
Maybe one day I'll actually ride my OWN motorcycle at VIR and be able to cut loose a bit more. Again big thanks to Degs, Chris, and Chad.

Nice pink zip-tie btw, who did that?
Yeah, i had alot of fun on the 600 & Chad's SV too. Steve's SS woulda been just as fun but it was extremely difficult to get used to the astronomically high seat height.
That last session, you on the SV, me on the 600, was definitely the best
http://www.cheapbastidracing.com/vir...cs/oreogaborio - you can see how uncomfortable I was at first on that bike. Only the last few photos do I look like I know what i'm doing. Wish they got some shots of that last session, that's when everything clicked.

RIP A.B. RIP BEET, I Ride in Leathers because I would rather sweat than Bleed...
Had a fantastic time down there and was nice to meet a lot of you guys.
In a meeting at work yesterday morning at 7:30am just wasn't cutting the mustard after the prior couple of days. It was one of those times when the boss asks a question and I just looked at him not having a clue what he was talking about after I was daydreaming and thinking what a load of crap this is being back at work.
Thx Paul, lid got quite a few compliments this weekend, which I promptly panned off on my helmet guy Luke Dobie at LD Designs. LD Designs :: Custom airbrushing and artwork
The motif is golden wings on top of a field of stars. Space. Complete with nebula clouds, galaxies, and various other space debris. Including a Veritech fighter on the back (Macross, Robotech, etc) above the 'a13x'.
I'm quite pleased with it. If only I could decide on what I want Luke to paint onto my MX / Supermoto lid...![]()
See detail pics here: http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...-part-2-a.html
Luke also painted Jeff Wood's 2006 ASRA helmet and his 2007 ASRA / AMA helmet.
