I just got some takeoffs from Jeff. Nice, now I'll have some decent hoops to put on Pete's ZX.

Are you getting them mounted down there? My tires won't be here till friday morning and I'm leaving straight from work. i'm sure they'll mount them for me at a cost.Originally posted by a13x

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Yea I was just going to bring them down. Heard there is a tire guy at the track so.....
Sure he will look at me confused when I show up with to get Michelin tires off the bike, putting Dunlop's on, while wearing my Pirelli hat.![]()
I think running a set of Wood's tires is worth at least 4 HP.

i don't want to hijack the other thread about degsy wife ... so i'm going to post here.
I bought a set of tirewarmers off of him which I was going to get from him at VIR ... is there anyone close to him that could grab them for me and bring them down??
oreo said he is going to find out if he can, but i'm just throwing it out there if there is anyway who lives closer
obviously if degsy is not available at all, i totally understand ... just throwing this out there.
thanks

Hey Sax,
First I know you are super excited about all your new toys, and have a great reason to be. In all honesty thou, I wouldn't even sweat the Warmers for the trackday.
Tire Warmers at a trackday are totally not needed. Sure if you have them in the truck, why not, but no reason to lose sleep over it.
a) It's a trackday and you aren't going to be going a billion miles a hour
b) Since it IS a trackday, you can spend that 1 - 2 laps going below your pace and make sure the tires are up to snuff. After 1.5-2 laps around VIR, those babies will be good to go. Since you aren't racing... it doesn't matter if you go 80% for a lap to get shit warmed up.
When I did the October Penguin Trackday, I had warmers sitting right there, I used them in the morning for the first session (since I had the time) and then didn't bother the rest of the day.
WORD.

I'll make sure your warmers get down there.
