00 SV 650

I just picked up a Royal Blue 00 SV 650 from a guy who said he bought it from a member from here. Anything i should be concerned about with this bike?

yes

you're going to want to do a track day

and if you give an sv owner a track day, he's going to want a gsxr front end to make him faster

and if you give him a gsxr front end, he's going to want a new pipe to go with it

and if you give him a new pipe, he's going to want to remap his FI

etc, etc, etc (apologies to whoever wrote the give a mouse a cookie book)

ride the snot out of that thing, they're veeeery fun bikes!

Not sure about that specific bike, but overall they are really solid bikes out of the box. Most 'concerns' are really more common upgrades to make the motor and chassis shine.

Only blue SV I know of is one that mcbgti traded in to a dealership to purchase his Triumph Daytona.

It has a few upgrades already on it, this is my first street bike i have owned after racing dirt for quite a few years, i don't have any complaints about the bike so far. I will post a pic of it and maybe someone will recognize it.
