which would you choose??? and why???
cbr
go honda thats why
seriously though supersports are all the same now adays. sit on one and whichever one feels better for you you should go with. People will chime in and say well ones better than the other cause of this or cause of that but the difference in performance is minimal between the two.
Basically its personal preference IMO
yeaaa i kinda figured that but i also figured id get some colorful replys lol im so up in the air.... im upgrading over winter ive been feeling the looks of the r6. lol but they all have there own high points in looks catatory.. stupid effing dealerships wont let u test ride bikes sooo it kinda sucks
Gixahhhhh for the win every time. You might want to get the 1000, cause it can be a 1000, 750, and a 600!!!

ive only been riding for 5 months dont tihnk im quite ready for a 1k yet. and to be honest.. is the price really worth it for a gixxer 750 ???? does 150 cc really justify the 2,000 ish for the upgrade???
I grabbed an 09 CBR 600 after testing a few bikes.
I to was tossed between bikes. Then was tossing around the 1000 Vs. 600 as to which one I wanted. The 600 won this time but I still want a 1000....
I also ride like a girl....![]()

When you put the 1k into dumb dumb mode B you can't go full throttle or else it will act as if it's in A. Dyno the bike in A mode and B mode and the two lines will be on top of each other. C mode is the full blown wussy mode...but it's still spewing out around 120hp.
As Mondo said, it's all preference and what you like. Some of us are biased of course and will say get the gixxer over the honDUH...but really you can't go wrong with any of them. Go check them out, sit on them and get a feel for each that you're interested in. Check out the specs, the gixxers all have slipper clutches. I'm not sure if the other 600's do yet, but they are nice. Even look into costs of after market goodies if you're into customizing your bikes. A $600 exhaust for one bike might cost $800 for another.
As for the 750's, they're a blast. A nice step up from the 600's but still a few notches from the 1k, too bad the others all gave up on that class. They'll even spank some of the older 900's, 1k's and 1100's
CBR for the win, IMO.

For a street bike, CBR with ABS hands down. I would like being able to emergency brake fully leaned over on any road surface. Easily worth it to save my life. For a track bike, ZX6R even though you didn't mention it.
love my cbrs![]()
mondos is right a 600 is a 600 anymore just sit on all of them and see how they feel
VTR1000
CB750C
JBizzle
I'd go with none of the above, and grab an '09 ZX-6R. Or, you can be a little different, and get a D675.
Thanks for all the input I was considering just getting a 1k but I really don't think I'm ready for tha big of a bike I know my self and I'll prolly get introuble with that size I deff need more time. With a 600 before I go up to 1k but currently I go a cbr f4 and I want something more sportier and right now money is a factor soo I'll e sticking with a 600 now aside from performance which bike looks the best?? Now that's te hardest part seeing "a 600 is a 600"
Concur with statement above about 09 ZX-6R. Anyone here have one? In all the 600 comparos I've read recently, the ZX-6R seems to be taking top honors. Seems to have an edge on current 600's (motor, brakes, handling). Ergos are supposed to be pretty good. And they look great. If I were in the market for an 09 600 I'd probably be shopping that against a CBR with ABS.
no bikes currently
Oh...and I would buy a ZX6r before any of them.
An F4 is a very nice comfy 600cc bike. Honda used to dominate this category for the past two years until this year. It was detuned for 2009 and the R6 and ZX6 caught up with it. Now, I see comparos where the R6 wins (Europe) and ZX6 wins (US). I agree with going with looks too. The Suzuki is the worst of them, but really the difference is so small these days that go with what fits you and what looks good for you. Honda is supposedly the easiest to ride and quality as always been excellent. With ABS you loose the weight advantage and the bike is very expensive for a 600cc bike, but IMHO it really does add to safety. Logically, no need to change bike. 8-)
bikes paid. and only reason i say mony is tight is that im moving to cali next summer and i really dont like the looks oh my f4 i want sumthing sportier the banana seat is ugly as fcuk i have like 6k to put down on the bike so im only gonna be financing 2-3 k which isnt bad. if i jump to say a 1k bike the money im financing is gonna go to 5-6k and i really dont wanna do just cuz im making a big move. plus i think 1k is to big for me at this stage in my riding. yayaya i know some people think hey stick with the f4 its a good bike.. but im shallow like that and i want something that looks more like a race bike and not a banana seat bike
