My wife & I used to ride 2 up all the time. We cooked, I could never be able to do that on the back.

We got buddys who get killed every year, i'm not going to push anything on anyone. I don't think I would want to ride the street, if I was just starting to ride.

not saying the the pic is not cool or nothing, just saying if it were me id want to ride those curves on my own bike, but youd never find me riding bitch anyway. at least shes there, brave soul.

on a side note, i wonder, since she understands the leaning and what not of some relativly high speed riding, do you guys think she would be a better rider because of her 2 up experience?

HA! It's not Big Shirl & I, but given certain circumstances we DO indulge in scenes similar to that. Twisty mountain roads, 2-up, both fully geared and leaning for fun...

I don't ever want her to get her own streetbike. She has her own dirty toy, and I'm TOTALLY cool with that. Too many fookin' retards out on the road to worry about, I'd be a fargin' MESS knowing she's out there too. And summa my best rides have been with her on the back...

She's very cool with riding like that. I'd never ride to the point of going over my comfort zone with her and she HAS jabbed me in the ol' kidneys a time or two when she feels uncomfortable...

I would say yes, she would understand the basic concepts of when to lean and how much to lean etc.

I have ridden twisties two-up and out of pure responsibility i do not push the envelope when i have a passenger with me.

Last year my girlfriend bought full gear...everything. She wore it on every ride. (now I sold my bike). She drove me nuts though, would always want me to go faster...was a good thing and a bad thing.
