the motorcycle in a barrel shows used to be common at fairs back in the 60's
I haven't seen on in person in over 40 years, when I was a kid, every year, late summer I used to go to the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex, Vt and never missed watching
I remember somone riding an old indian, a dirt bike and a go-cart
the power of centrifical force, if the engine died, plenty of momentum to coast to the bottom under control
