I'm glad they didn't kill it. It looks a lot beefier than previous versions. I'll reserve final judgment for when I see it in person.

I like it....
Too cool for sigs.
I agree .....very nice
Me likey. Nice color combo, too.
I'm assuming your thinking of the 07/08 Z1000, 08/09 ZX-10R, and 09 ZX-6R. And I can agree with that. But I'll counter your sentiment by saying that considering what they have to work with, given the EPA regs they have to comply with, I'd say they do a pretty decent job of styling them along the lines of the bike. But 90% of them get swapped for aftermarket units anyway, so its a moot point.
Oh, and nothing is uglier than the stock Gladius exhaust (except maybe the upcoming VFR1200 exhaust...what an abortion).
I like it! I've always wanted to take one for a spin.
I still like the original the best

i love the way the first gen looks, second gen (minus exhaust -- dual tuning fork exhaust was awesome) was ok...
first glance i thought that was a scooter, at least the proportions make it look so........ chunky and heavy up front, and not in a good way.
perhaps a different colorscheme and seeing it in person would help that.
edit: figured it out. it's the ludicrously high bars (clubmans or clip-ons would make it look awesome), coupled with the stupid mirror stalks and the silvery-white painted bits flanking the headlight. upon additional scrutinizing, the tail is too steep. i can't stand bobbed shit/"custom streetfighter look"/RC212V where people (or honda) have jacked the fuck up out of the subframe... ugh
edit2: at least it's encouraging seeing manufacturers putting in resources to make nice naked bikes (though maybe this is technically more of an angry sport-standard).

hurray, strikethrough!
...adventure timeadventure time...adventure time...adventure time
Ugh, I think that bike is hideous looking. All the bolt-on plastic garbage makes it look fugly.
The front is all fat and angry. Looks like a fat chick had a donut stolen from her.
Someone needs to fix the auto edit: I can't say c h u b b y due to the word h u b b y being in there lol

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
All of the newer bikes have the ugly triangular exhaust. I don't know who thinks it looks good, but it doesn't. Most people don't keep stock exhaust anyway so I guess it doesn't matter.
Original
I like the old school design better than the spaceage shit.

Does anyone else see a Bking when looking at it? Not a fan of the design.
Looks great from the side, too; can't wait to see it in person.
A little more info, and news on a couple of other models too (including the ZX-10R):

EDIT: Looks like Kawasaki's already got it up on the 2010 mini site

I like the 3-D views. Got a little bit pricier, though: $10,499. That's verging on Monster 1100 territory now.

now that is what Im talking about
I like the original better too. When it first came out I was like, DAMN that's hot. When I saw this I was like, meh. It's strange they released the Verys's curb weight figures but not the z1000's. It looks even heavier, which seems to be the trend with naked bikes lately.
Negative, same tired old ZX-9 motor with a longer stroke than the 1st/2nd gen Z. It now displaces 1043cc's and makes 135HP @ 9500 or so...
...but also weighs in at a hefty 480lbs dry weight. My 2nd gen Z already weighs something like 460lbs wet with the stock trumpets removed, which is still in the porker territory, but I can't imagine an almost 500lb+ sport standard.
I do kind of like the new styling though.
