I think something about the lower exposed tank, or profile of it kind of bothers me. Fantastic motor though.

And I like the complimentary orange zip tie on the fork. Or is that a dust seal that popped off?

Those crazy tall hump gas tanks always bother me. Especially when they are tits high to me standing next to the bike... But by all accounts this bike is the boss of the nakeds.

Now that I look at it, I think the color scheme is what I don't like.

aesthetically neither speaks to me. Its not just the styling, but that weird knuckle that hangs off the front of the crank area.
They've done a better job camouflaging it on the newer bike, but I know its still there.

That, and too much is sometimes still too much.

whatever it is, its pretty gross. The LC8 of yore had it higher and neatly tucked behind the radiator...where it wasn't so in your face.

or, as in the case of the 990duke, it was tucked behind a sporty chin fairing. (I think)
