Also, look up a cross referance of what filters fit your bikes. For example, a Triumph 675 uses a purolator PL14612 which also happens to be the most common car filter on the planet. (honda civic, mazda 3i and many more.) Using Advanced online ordering and a purolator gold filter I haven't done an oil change on anything I own for over $20 in about 2 years.

The Shell Rotella products are fine for your bike. I've been using an equivalent to Rotella (only because it comes in 5gal pails) in everything I own (bikes, snowblower, truck,etc) for years and have not experienced an issue.

Got 3 gallons, never used it before. Bikes always got the Honda/Kawi/Yama oil that I stocked up on when I could get it on sale.

Cars I use castrol syntec 0w30, I stock up when it's 33 bucks for 5 quarts and a filter at autozone (like right now)

Broke the atk out for the trip down. I was kinda pre-pissed off because they NEVER have this oil, and I use it in everything. Basically whenever Im in there for anything, I keep an eye out and they SOMETIMES have a single gallon and I buy it whether I need oil or not and it generally works out. So when I saw they had two gallons in stock, I kinda didnt believe it.

Went in and guess what, like always the shelf was empty. Had to wait in line for a while, and when I got up, I told the guy they are alway out, and it it possible for them to maybe set aside the 2 gallons I ordered and let me know when they come in since they never ever have any. He said "oh, you ordered it? I set it aside for you!"

heh, so I got my oil, yay.

And on the way out, someone recognized the atk as an atk for the first time since Ive owned it!

There is a discrepancy on the first page, which says limit of 2, and the printable page which says limit of 1. I'm printing both and submitting a letter with my rebate so ensure I get credit for 2.

I used the link OP provided, ordered 4 gallons, went to pickup and noticed 3 of the 4 containers said "Heavy Duty Diesel Oil" The guy checked and said the part #'s were exactly the same on all 4 containers. Needless to say, I cancelled the order and will go back to Mobil 1.

I wouldn't worry much about it. Actually many actually use diesel motor oil. This oil is definitely safe for bikes

Rotella is good stuff. Those tractors and semis run a lot of miles, they know what's up. And no friction modifiers == happy wet clutch.
