I've clicked on this thread 2 times,
I ride an Almostl stock 05' 750.
And you have to try to keep the front end down. How can this guy have trouble getting it up ?

So evidently I simply hadn't tried clutching up second gear before because I just gave it a try and it's a breeze. Very nice. Much easier than the bump 'n' gunnit. haha

If you're on the 06 1K you can clutch it up in second anywhere from 5mph-70 no problem, just a matter of knowing what rpm to let it slip at. Back when I was retarded I'd clutch up in third at 70-80 with a little bounce. I'm talking stand ups.
