Is Boston's moto parking seasonal?

I ride year round, and today is the first day I've noticed metered bike spots by my office. Do they take these away during the winter and bring them out after Memorial Day or something?

The only spaces I’ve seen are in Back Bay, Beacon Street and Boylston St. They’ve been open year round. The “expansion” in 2012 was:

The parking slots will be located as follows.
Four spaces on Batterymarch Street, between Franklin Street and Wendell Street
Four spaces on Milk Street at India Street
Four spaces on High Street at Oliver Street
Three spaces on Pearl Street, between Purchase Street and High Street

In 2009 or 2010, I complained to the city about the lack of motorcycle parking at garages, particularly Boston Common. They followed through and you can now park monthly for $75.

Seasonal by virtue of the fact that most riders don't ride all year, and during the winter, perhaps those spaces don't get the snow clearing attention regular car spaces do.
