Knew he could do it, finally figured the Desmo out - and Spies continues to impress!

He put in some laps in practice on qualifying rubber last year.... flying laps. He seems to be much more consistently on the pace thus far in testing. Basically there was an interview a ways back or some article mentioning a big reason why they renewed his contract is that all the development that he did made it easier for the satellite team riders' to ride the bike as well. So basically Stoner = Only His Bike, Hayden = development for everyone else.
Good to see Vale and Ben up there. I still have my doubts about Hayden. I don't think he'll ever be as fast as the Top 4. When Vale throws in the hat, I see Hayden filling the consistently mediocre place in the standings that Edwards now occupies.
Go Nicky..... and he's sporting a huge surgery scar on his forearm from a couple of weeks back....
ouch .... big gap back to Ben in 5th!
