I agree that you really shouldn't donate. Most people who get donated organs don't last that long anyways. They are sick and they must take lots of drugs to keep them from rejecting the organ. Either their sickness consumes the new organ or they rejected it and die anyways. It may provide them a few more years of suffering though. Also as stated the doctor gets a Lambo and your family gets nothing.

So I should make that choice for them? Meh, you weren't going to live out those last few years very happily anyway so let me go cold and bury me with it.

I'm a donor and am walking around with a donor ACL in my right knee. There are so many pieces and parts that can benefit others, especially in the unfortunate event of premature death, that I cannot understand why anyone would not be a donor.

It's a personal choice, but I can't quite grasp not doing it.

It does no such thing. The tag line at the end says, "Don't wear protective gear? Realize yourself in the organ market."

What do you want them to say? "You are more likely to die of coronary heart disease or cancer than being killed in a bike crash."
