Having never met this person, it sounds like he was loved, respected, and cared for very much amongst this community.
I hope he has found the never ending twisty in the sky.
in the past, when a family has lost a rider, we would make it a point to laugh every time we saw lightning in the sky and think:
" there they are, dragging knee through the clouds again"
I hope his family is still doing well.
RIP - ride in peace
it is time to ride B!TCHEZ !
I was sorry to read this and it was about two years that I started reading this forum and I must have come here just after this occurred. But, since it has been so long, is it kosher to ask what happened on that fateful day? Sometimes it ruins someone's memory of a person to have the event re-enacted in a neutral, clinical way, but it is also helpful to those of us relatively new to riding.
Not at all. Adam was riding in Connecticut with some friends. He was riding in a group and an 89 year old lady turned across the path of the group, striking Adam. He was in a coma for a couple of days before succoming to his injuries. The lady got her licence revoked and was found guilty of vehicular manslaughter. Fine? $500. No jail time.

Every time I go to MotoMarket, I remember his Tiger sitting in the middle of a packed lot with hundreds of his fellow riders sharing their condolences, laughs, cries and colorful stories about Adam.

I remembered as I went to the "Hello Ladies" ride I led yesterday. Looked down on my arm to see the patch and made it a little dedication ride of my own yesterday.
