It is supposed to run in the Isle of Man TT today.

someday we'll all be riding one of these electric missles, can't wait!
Are you speaking of the Killacycle?
The battery system was designed 1/2 mile from our shop at A-123 in Watertown.
Cool to see Motoczysz building this. I guess that guy has a shitload of money. First an attempt at a GP bike, and now this.
Hopefully MotoCzysz will actually finish this year -- and if so, it sounds like they stand an excellent chance of winning.
Beautiful bike -- MotoCzysz's designs never fail to impress me.

2011 Pit Bike Race CHAMPION!
The MotoCzysz bike hit 135MPH today at the Sulby speed trap. Pretty smokin fast for an electric bike. I also read that the electric motor is in the swingarm under the rear shock mount. Personally i like the look of his electric bike from last year, but this year's bike seems to be the real deal. I think the bike ICE bikes cruise through the speed trap around 170-190 and the 600's do about 140-150ish. 135 is pretty impressive considering that it is their second go at the electric race IMO.
Those numbers and that article are very impressive. Quick change batteries and all!...it develops its 100 HP and 250 Lb-Ft of torque continuously...
This motorcycle has got to be the electric equivalent to the Britten.
****SPOILER**** (not that anyone really cares about having the TT Zero being spoiler, lol)
motoczysz came in first, followed by agni. the motoczysz bike was 4mph off the 100mph avg 10,000GBP prize.
i'm looking forward to laguna, but 2-3 years of development should make things pretty entertaining...
my fear is that it becomes less exciting as things trend toward a single solution (or a couple major ones), like with ICE racing... plus, while fuel is always a concern for the WSBK/motoGP bikes, a lot more comes down to the engine efficiency -- electric motors seem pretty consistently around 90%, so unless there's a huge breakthrough...
hurray, strikethrough!

Awesome! This is a hell of a vindication for Michael Czysz and his team.
