Hey all,
I figured I would throw this into the General area since it can directly benefit anyone that is riding on the street.
There is going to be a Lee Parks' Advanced Riding Clinic on August 13th at the New Hampshire Speedway (Loudon, NH)
While this is run at the same track that we'll be doing our trackdays, it is not run on the track. We rent the huge parking lot just outside the tunnel.
Anyway, this course is designed to make you a better and safer rider - plain and simple.
If you only have a few years of riding under your belt, it would be an ideal course for you. Learn how to do things the RIGHT way.
Instruction focuses on:
- Effective cornering techniques
- Precise throttle control
- Throttle-to-brake transitions (trail braking)
- Line selection
- Body position
- Mental attitude
- Suspension adjustment
- Corner exit
- Traction management
The class size is limited to 12 students and there are 2 instructors - so everyone gets tons of personal attention.
You have the option to also sign up for a trackday the next day to immediately practice your new skills, but it is not required.
If you don't want to ride the track, you are certainly welcome to hang out with the riders and even go on the Track walk Monday night.
Guess that's about it for now.

In.
I just hope I catch a break on the weather.
I'm not doing that great with "scheduled" motorcycle time.
First time it was 40's and raining.
Second time it was "hey let's try to go up Mount Washington". Blizzard conditions at the top.
Third time it was 32 and snowing.
