Need advice-- 02 SV650

I have an oppurtunity to pick up a SV with low miles for $1100. Bike is original unmolested condition.

I want it for track days so I don't ruin my street bike. The person who has this bike now is a well respected NE racer/tech and will set up the suspension for me at littte cost. All totaled I'll probably be looking at 1500 when all done .

Does this seem like a fair deal?
